Congratulations to Lindsay Buchert for winning Athlete of the month!

Lindsay is a prime example of someone who comes to the gym every day with a mindset of getting better and pushing herself! Even throughout her last pregnancy she was still attending the gym regularly and scaling as needed, but knew she couldn’t miss a day! Even though she couldn’t perform at the level she was prior to pregnancy, her attitude never changed and she always did the best she could. Thank you for always being positive, coachable, and an AWESOME Infernal Member 🙂

1) What were you doing before you came to CrossFit Infernal?
I had been working out by myself at home (booooooring) for about a year before my sister gifted me a 3-month membership at the Crossfit box where she coaches. I was hooked, but needed to go somewhere closer to home. So about 4 months into my Crossfit journey, I joined Infernal.
2) What kind of animal would you describe yourself as during a WOD?
Hmmmm….that’s a tough one. Something small, but scrappy!
3) What are your goals/future plans with CrossFit?
I want to keep learning new things and setting new PRs! I hope to do Crossfit as long as possible because I’ve never felt so good about what I’m capable of doing!
4) What is your favorite/least favorite movement?
Favorite: Clean
Non Favorite: Toes to bar
5) Favorite Cheat Meal?
Pizza and craft beer!
6) What is some advice you would give someone new to CrossFit?
Never underestimate what you can do with hard work. I had my 3rd baby (and 3rd c-section) last March, and now 9 months later, I’m stronger than I was before. Just keep coming to the gym, listen to your coaches, and bust your butt…you’ll see results, I promise!
