Growing up I was always surrounded by sports. Whether it was playing them or watching them, they pretty much ran my life. I finished my athletic career as a Division 2 Baseball player in College, which is where I found a love for fitness and training which was far stronger than my love for any sport. Something about the way you felt after pushing your body to its limits knowing you were bettering yourself as an athlete, a person, and your health drove me to work harder each day.

When I found CrossFit, it completely changed my life in so many ways and all I wanted to do was get back to the box! The energy, killer workouts, the community, and the fact that I was a part of a group of people who were so motivational yet so humble at the same time was an amazing feeling. I instantly knew that I HAD to give this feeling back to as many people as I could, so I started coaching in 2013.

There is no better feeling than helping improve someone’s life, so I strive on a daily basis to impact each and every person I encounter in the gym, just as it was done to me. I can truly say I would not be where I am today without CrossFit, and I am very thankful for that!

  • Crossfit Level I Trainer
  • Youth Fitness Coach

Sports and fitness have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing football and baseball, and the more I trained for each respective sport, the more I fell in love with the training/in-gym aspect.

My coaching career began with sports performance personal training for youth athletes. After finding CrossFit and weightlifting in 2012, I dedicated the next few years to learning and coaching correct movement patterns and technique. I am always trying to learn and grow as an athlete as well as a coach, and be able to provide solid and up to date tips and techniques to improve performance. When I’m not in the gym, you can find me on the football field refereeing youth, high school, and junior college football.

Health and fitness is something I am truly passionate about. There’s nothing more fulfilling to me than being able to help someone reach their goals and improve their way of life.

  • CrossFit Level I Trainer
  • CrossFit Strongman Trainer
  • USAW Sports Performance Level 1 Coach
  • CrossFit Mobility Trainer
  • CrossFit Judge’s Course

My career in coaching began when I was hired to coach high school football at the age of 19. I also started to assist in running the off-season weights and conditioning program for the athletes.

I found CrossFit in 2011 and signed up for my Level 1 after just 6 months. CrossFit’s ability to bring together so many fitness domains was the most intriguing thing to me.

I joined the Infernal Family in late 2013. I love doing all I can to help members improve and reach their goals!

  • Certified Level One Fascial Stretch Therapist
  • Gymnastics Coach

As a kid, I was very active and played many different sports with the other kids in my neighborhood. The one sport that stuck was gymnastics. I did artistic gymnastics for about 11 years, having to leave the sport in 2011. I did competitive cheer for one year after, followed by one year of school cheer.

After that, I was lost and could not find a way to stay active that suited me in the way that gymnastics did. I had heard about CrossFit a few times, and it really appealed to me with its use of the gymnastic elements. I started coaching gymnastics in 2014 and found CrossFit Infernal soon after. I was brought in to the Infernal family to help with the gymnastics class and have since taken it over, along with coaching regular CrossFit classes.

Seeing an athlete get their first handstand and discover their love for fitness while pushing themselves to get better makes my job a fulfilling one and drives me to step up and improve both as an athlete and as a coach. CrossFit has rejuvenated my passion for fitness, driven me to push myself, and given me a passionate community I wouldn’t trade anything for.

I have been an athlete from age 3 to 18. I started with gymnastics but after a back injury, I was told I should stick to more low impact sports such as swimming. So that’s exactly what I did! I went right into competitive swimming.

As years went by, I thought the only way to stay fit was CARDIO. So, I ran a bunch but always felt like something was missing. I was introduced to Crossfit by a friend. But I was so skeptical. How could only doing shorter workouts help me? But I was hooked almost immediately!

I love every aspect of Crossfit; the Olympic lifting, the gymnastics, and feeling all the pain! But what drew me to Crossfit (and the same for swimming), was this competitiveness within me. Yes, I compete against others. But Crossfit is really more about me competing with myself and trying to be better than I was yesterday. I think that’s a goal that we all have in every part of life. I feel very lucky to be a coach here at Crossfit Infernal, and to be a part of an amazing Crossfit family.
